Patriotic Americans are naturally inclined to be supportive of our military, but many Americans are unaware of how dramatically the armed services have changed since the Korea and Vietnam era. Those changes should cause Americans to be careful not to confuse real patriotism with blind support for an administration or political party’s agenda.
